Simplex Industries has long been a leader in the field of Green
Building. Our commitment started years ago with the introduction
of our Planet Friendly Homes© concepts. That program
incorporated the use of environmentally friendly building products
and methods.
At Simplex, we have built energy efficient, Energy Star© 5
Star+ Homes and LEED Certification projects that include single
family homes, modern architecturally significant homes,
multi-family homes, college dormitories, upscale townhomes and
professional space.
We are proud to be a part of the GridSTAR Net Zero Energy Project
at the Philadelphia Naval Yard. This collaboration of
manufacturers, academic researchers, government and economic
leaders designed and built Phase 1 of a net-zero energy Smart
Energy Campus - The GridSTAR Center. The project is designed
to drive future energy efficient technologies and development of
alternate energy sources.
We also feature one of our industry’s most aggressive recycling
programs throughout the entire company – from our production
facilities through our offices. Every effort is made to recycle
excess metal, wood and wire – we even order paint in large
reusable totes to reduce landfill waste.
